I want to continue the dialogue of maintaining a healthy budget that will serve our community. The budget changes annually so being aware of how these changes affect our community is key.
As our community grows, I am dedicated to ensuring all families and students have a chance to succeed, no matter their background.
I want to continue to work with our community so that families, students and staff are aware of what has been happening at board meetings and encourage engagement at these meetings.
As we navigate how to safely open our schools, I want to work with our community to have an open line of communication. This is not an easy time and I also want to make sure those who may need additional resources have access to these resources.
With the passing of HB 3 in 2019, the bill that allowed for districts to raise teacher pay, as a board member, I am dedicated to advocating for our staff.
Having been a long education advocate, I am committed to finding common sense solutions for our community. Quality education should not be a partisan issue, but one that is of interest to the community at large.
